Our parish, as every other, exists because of the generosity of the people we serve. We live the two dimensions of our Catholic faith, the vertical in deepening our relationship with God and the horizontal in strengthening our relationships with others.
We thank God and all of our benefactors for the much needed supports to serve the people of Clinton. We respect and appreciate gifts of time, talent, and treasure donated to our parish ministries, and we steward each of those gifts responsibly.
Beyond the efforts of our priests to provide the Sacraments and their life-sustaining graces, our parish accomplishes much every day because of the generosity of volunteers. The people we serve always can benefit from additional gifts of your prayers, volunteer efforts, and donations of materials goods and money. As the Widow gave her mite, every gift benefits the recipient and the giver. Thank you for your contributions.
Tax-deductible gifts may be made to St. John in person, online, or over the phone at 978/368-0366. Each month, a Parish Development Fund collection offsets expenses for special projects, such as the construction of confessionals, distribution of the Magnificat, etc. toward the costs for accessories for the new confessionals.
Bins are in the church entrances, including downstairs, to collect non-perishable food for people in need in conjunction with our food pantry. Other items may be donated to forward to families with specific needs. Clothing can be distributed via the Knights of Columbus and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
The monthly Parish Development Fund collection for January will be used toward the costs for accessories for the new confessionals. The addition of these beautiful confessionals in our main church represent a substantial special project, contributing much to everyone seeking the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Thank you for your support.
